Finish — Stainless 18-8 (304). General-purpose stainless (304/A2). Good corrosion + non-magnetic. Use the finish that matches your environment: zinc for dry indoor work, hot-dip galvanized for outdoor and treated-lumber exposure, 18-8 stainless for general corrosion resistance, and 316 stainless for marine, coastal, and chemical service.
